I contributed to multiple short-term, long-term projects. These engagements spanned various domains and technologies, including high-load systems, event-driven architectures, and API platforms.

High-Load System Development (9 months)

• Developed and maintained a high-load PHP application handling ~1000 RPS.
• Focused on system performance, response time, caching (Redis, Memcached), and query optimization.
• Architected and maintained a Daktela-based support system, including API upgrades and integration tests for backward-incompatible changes.

Retail Food Business Platform (10 months)

• Built an API from scratch for a retail chain using tablet-based cash registers, supporting offline access for underground locations.
• Created a CRM admin panel for managing food business, products, users, orders, etc.
• Chose and configured MongoDB to support NoSQL-style flexible storage and fast access without recalculating data on fly.

Ongoing Project (24 months ongoing)

• Continuously contributing to a large-scale system as a backend engineer.
• Primary focus on maintaining legacy components, designing new features, and ensuring data consistency and system scalability.

Ongoing personal Project – AI-Driven Food Recommendation Service (6+ months ongoing)

• Designing and developing my own scalable backend service using Python, FastAPI for API and business logic
• MongoDB for raw data storage
• PostgreSQL for analytics and structured insights
• Redis for caching layer
• Docker for containerized microservices architecture
• The service aggregates user-generated food recommendations from online communities (Reddit, Facebook. etc...) and ranks restaurants based on popularity, relevance, and city context.

In my role in the Transactional Messaging team, I was responsible for implementing and managing communication channels with customers and business partners. This involved developing and maintaining communication by such channels as emails, SMS, push notifications, webhooks, and social media messengers like Facebook and Viber to ensure effective and timely communication. The communication was built by REST API using different web services for different communication channels. The microservices themselves were developed using PHP and Go programming languages.

Additionally, I implemented and maintained internal web applications needed for the internal usage of different company departments like customer support or reservation teams.
